Exit Re-Entry Permit (ERP) - Who Is It For And What Are The Benefits

If your visa has already expired and you are no longer in the country, you are now unable to process an EPO, therefore you arerequired to apply for an Exit Only Permit.
Steps to get your ERP (Exit Re-Entry Permit)
- Provide all of the requirements
- Submit the ERP application at the local immigration office
- ERP is approved
- The immigration will issue an ERP document.
If you fail to close your previous visa, you will be unable to obtain another temporary (KITAS) or permanent (KITAP) visa until you close the visa.
Immigration authorities reserve the right to question and detain you, due to failure to acknowledge authorities.
Generally, for employment, your employer should be responsible. If you are unsure, make sure you ask your employer to clarify.

Requirements (company sponsor)
- Original application letter of KITAS cancellation (company letterhead) – draft provided
- Original application letter of IMTA cancellation (company letterhead) – draft provided
- Color copy of ID card (KTP) of the company sponsor’s PIC/Director (who signs the application letter)
- Copy of Passport
- Original work permit (IMTA)
- Color copy of KITAS
- Color copy of DPKK fund
- Copy of RPTKA
- Color copy of Employee’s ID card of the foreign worker
- Latest Exit Stamps from Indonesian territory
- Copy of flight ticket from last departure
Requirements (Indonesian Spouse)
- Original application letter of KITAS cancellation – draft provided
- Letter of Authorization (Surat Kuasa) – draft provided
- Scan Copy of Passport
- Color copy of KITAS
- Color copy of marriage certificate
- Sponsor’s documents: ID card (KTP), Birth certificate (Akta Lahir), Family Registration (Kartu Keluarga)
- Latest Exit Stamps from Indonesian territory
- Copy of flight ticket from latest departure
