Repatriation KITAS (Repatriation Visa) – Who is it for and what are the benefits
The Repatriation KITAS (Repatriation Visa) is a temporary stay permit that is intended for use for 1 very specific situation: For Indonesian citizens that have changed their citizenship to another nationality.
Therefore, the main purpose of this visa is to regain Indonesian citizenship.
The validity of this visa is 1 year and is extendable annually for a maximum of 6 years.;Repatriation KITAS holders can also obtain a KITAP (Repatriation Permanent Stay Permit) which has a validity of 5 years after having a KITAS for just one year. They can choose to extend the KITAS or obtain KITAP after a one-year KITAS.
If the applicant would like to extend their KITAS, they may consider a Repatriation KITAP (Repatriation Permanent Stay Permit) which has a validity of 5 years.
Steps to get your Repatriation KITA (Onshore)
- Application of E-Vitas C318. This visa is used to enter Indonesia
- Upon the arrival to Indonesia, the foreigner is required to drop the original passport to our office
- Attend the Biometric and fingerprint session
- E-vitas to KITAS conversion at the local immigration office
- KITAS completion with the E-Kitas along with Multiple entry re-entry permit
Steps to get your Repatriation KITA (Onshore)
- Application of E-Vitas C318. This visa is used to enter Indonesia
- Upon the arrival to Indonesia, the foreigner is required to drop the original passport to our office
- Attend the Biometric and fingerprint session
- E-vitas to KITAS conversion at the local immigration office
- KITAS completion with the E-Kitas along with Multiple entry re-entry permit

- Application of E-Vitas C318. This visa is used to enter Indonesia
- Upon the arrival to Indonesia, the foreigner is required to drop the original passport to our office
- Attend the Biometric and fingerprint session
- E-vitas to KITAS conversion at the local immigration office
- KITAS completion with the E-Kitas along with Multiple entry re-entry permit.
This is a non-working visa, you may not work with this visa.

6.Educational Certificate
7.Digital photograph on a red background
8.Revocation letter of KTP
9.A letter of waiver of citizenship from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Indonesian Embassy
10.Stamp of current stay permit with 30 days validity minimum – ONSHORE (Status Changing)
11.Letter of no objection for changing status from current sponsor (if needed) – ONSHORE (Status Changing)
